Dr. Tamira Fleming
Dr. Tamira Fleming is our Founder and Director! She holds doctorate in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. She also holds a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Faulkner University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee State University. She has over 20 years of classroom teaching experience in both public and private sectors. She taught K-12 math and science to students in general ed, special, and gifted education. She is the proud founder of STEM Connextion, and strives daily to bring quality educational experiences to all students. Currently, she wears dual hats at STEM Connextion as Founder/Executive Director and STEM Project Based Learning instructor. Dr. Tamira resides in Dallas, TX with her husband and three young adult children.
